 Building workplaces where emotional intelligence flourishes


My work is shaped by 25 years of military leadership, Human Intelligence operations, specialist welfare support, and transformational 1‑to‑1 coaching.


For a quarter of a century, I served in the British Army — working in environments defined by pressure, uncertainty, and human complexity. My career spanned Human Intelligence roles, leadership positions, and a specialist welfare appointment supporting individuals and teams through some of their most challenging personal and professional moments.


Those experiences taught me a truth that underpins everything I do today: People don’t thrive because challenges disappear — they thrive when they feel understood, supported, and emotionally equipped to navigate them.


As the founder of EMOTEQ™ Coaching, I bring this depth of experience into the workplace. I help organisations build cultures where emotional intelligence is not just encouraged but embedded — where people feel psychologically safe, valued, and capable of performing at their best.


Alongside organisational training, I provide transformational 1‑to‑1 coaching for leaders, professionals, and individuals seeking clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience. My approach is trauma‑informed, evidence‑based, and grounded in real‑world experience of human behaviour under pressure.
